Preseason Is Winding Down

For the Giants its so far so good, right? We didn’t have too many injuries, the offensive line looked competent for a change and the guys battling for a roster spot look good. Some tough decisions will need to be made this next coming week.

Stats from our QBs:

Nope Kyle Lauletta and Tanney don’t count because they’ll never see the field.

How do you think Jones will do in his final preason game?

Dennis Smith Jr Fixing His Jumper

There’s not much going on until NFL training camp starts so I figured I’d post an article about Dennis Smith Jr working to fix his jumper. Question: If he really does fix his jumper, what does that mean for the starting lineup? Does Payton still start?

A Day of Mourning

When the certified bitches Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant decided to not even give the Knicks a meeting and signed with the Bogus Nets it threw the Knicks organization and fans into a tailspin. For months Knicks fans fantasized about upgrading their roster with at least 1 top tier free agent only to agree to contracts with Julius Randle, Bobby Portis, and Taj Gibson, Reggie Bullock, and Wayne Ellington.

What could the Knicks do? Kyrie’s mind was made up already and Durant also decided he was going to Bogus before the Knicks could contact him. That put the Knicks in a tough situation. They still want to be competitive while they rebuild so they signed a few PFs and SGs. Julius Randle isn’t a bum. Neither is Bobby Portis. The only questionable signing I see is Taj Gibson. Maybe the plan is to have him mentor the young bigs on how to defend? That’s a guess on my part and it still wouldn’t be a good use of resources.

In any case, the knicks are here. They’ve signed a bunch of guys to 2 year deals and will most likely be looking to trade them at the end of their contracts. All we can do now is HOPE RJ Barrett, Knox, and whoever else the Knicks draft next year and the year after pan out. That would be the best way to sell the Knicks as a destination. Chin up gents.

Julius Randle Highlights (Guy did average 21 and 9 last year. He does get buckets):

Kawhi Leonard Gets his REVENGE!

In 2017 Kawhi played 23 minutes of game 1 of the Western Conference Finals before exiting the game with an ankle injury caused by the human hack Zaza Pachulia. The Spurs were up 78-55 at the time. Kawhi was bussin they ASS. In 23 minutes he had 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assist. With Kawhi in the locker room, the Warriors took advantage and won the game. The Spurs wound up losing the Conference Finals 4-0.

2 years later Kawhi got his revenge by eliminating the defending Champ Warriors in 6 games and winning the Finals MVP trophy. Congrats to that man.

I predicted Toronto in 7. If they pull it off, what I don’t want to hear is “They wouldn’t of won if the Warriors didn’t have to deal with injuries”. The first time the Cavs faced the Warriors in the finals(2015) Kyrie played 1 game and Kevin Love didn’t play at all. Injuries happen.

Warriors vs Raptors Finals

The Warriors and Raptors played twice this year. Each time the teams looked different:

Toronto won both times. Regular season success doesn’t mean they’ll have success in the playoffs BUT……I got Toronto winning in 7 (to keep it interesting). What say y’all?
