Virtual Reality

If you know me, you know that I’m big into VR. Well…maybe not big into use right now but I believe in the potential of VR. It can be a great learning tool. Imagine classes in VR. Not some math or history class….imagine learning how to speak a language. You get shuttled to Rome, Italy for lessons in Italian. Having the ability to interact with objects and people using the new words you just learned. Or maybe you want to be a Datacenter Tech but you don’t have access to a datacenter. Wouldn’t it be dope to be able to get eyes on Patch Panels, Routers, Switches, fiber, etc…and do the connecting yourself? There’s so many different ways VR can be used and I look forward to seeing what they think up. This guy Thrill Seeker does pretty good VR headset reviews and Varijo makes the best headset out….and they just released (or are releasing) a consumer version. ACCOUNTABILITY POST

My very first post is an accountability post for myself. I’ve been putting off studying for the second test to complete the CCNP Enterprise certification. I decided to go the ENARSI route (Implementing Cisco Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services ) and the reading is DRY so I wind up not getting it done. I want to have this test complete by the end of Feb. That gives me 3 months to study. I WILL GET THIS DONE BY Feb 15th. So ends my accountability post.
